Cancellations Follow Heat, Legal Troubles

There will be just two games in Week 13 of the AUDL season.

The Connecticut Constitution will stay home, still entrenched in a legal battle with the league over the possibility of new expansion teams being created in New York and Boston next year. This provides the Indianapolis Alleycats and the Bluegrass Revolution with an unexpected bye week, allowing them time to prepare for match-ups next weekend against the league leading Philadelphia Spinners.

The heat-wave that has affected the majority of the nation has also forced the Columbus Cranes to cancel today’s game against the Buffalo Hunters. Whether they will also cancel tomorrow’s match-up against Detroit is to be determined.
